Killyliss Country House is a luxury country house set in the peaceful countryside on the County Monaghan/Cavan border. The country house is a popular four star Fáilte Ireland approved Bed & Breakfast located less than one hour north of Dublin International Airport. This recently built country house offers all guests a warm welcome and great hospitality. Killyliss Country House boasts free WiFi connection availability throughout the entire property and free secure overnight parking.

The classically modern and spacious country house styled accommodation consists of five uniquely designed rooms to the highest standard. All rooms come en-suite as standard with trouser-presses, tea and coffee facilities, TV’s, DVD players, DVD libraries, CD players and much more. Rates include a homemade breakfast. A ground-floor room with an en suite bathroom and a self-catering lodge located at the rear of the property are available. Decorated in warm colours, and featuring comfortable furniture and a fireplace, the guest lounge has a welcoming atmosphere.

Killyliss Country House offers all the contemporary amenities of an upscale hotel but delivered in a cosy, intimate and traditional setting. Each of our rooms are decorated with luxury in mind. With Irish homemade chocolates on the pillow and the bed turned down, heated blankets and hypoallergenic pillows we guarantee a peaceful night’s sleep in the country.

All guests are offered a welcome tray upon arrival, and after a peaceful night’s sleep, are presented with an extensive breakfast menu. Breakfast is freshly prepared for each guest, along with freshly made bread and scones each morning. Home cooking is our specialty. If you wish, a dinner menu is available to all guests upon request, accompanied with fine wines. Evening meals are provided each night.

Being 1 hour north of Dublin and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Belfast , we have a central location with many amenities available close to hand. Co. Cavan, also known as the Lake County, offers a wide range of fishing areas with beautiful views and walks. Many golf courses are to be found throughout the region including the famous Concra Wood Golf Course located but 15 minutes from our country house.

There are plenty of walking routes in the area and the market towns of Cootehill and Ballybay are within a 10-minute drive away. Errigal Country House Hotel is also just 10 minutes away. The possibilities during your stay are truly endless.
